Census Forms Arriving Mid-March – Be Counted!
The U.S. Census Bureau is mailing census forms to all residents in mid-March. Residents will have until Mid-April to complete and return the form. Completing the form is easy, safe and important!Easy - The 2010 Census has only 10 Questions. Information about everyone who lives at a residence should be included on the completed Census form.
Safe - Per Title 13 of the United States Code, the U.S. Census Bureau is not allowed to share an individual's response with anyone, including other federal agencies or law enforcement entities.
Important - Census data determines boundaries for state and local legislative and congressional districts. Also, Census data determines how $400 billion in federal funding (for schools, roads, senior centers and libraries - to name a few examples) is allocated to communities. Every person is worth an average of $1000 to their community in federal funding if they are counted in the Census.

Hohokam Traditional School Information
Hohokam is in the process of transitioning into a Traditional School. This process will continue through the 2009-2010 school year. The SUSD Governing Board has shown support for this transition. Our goal is to open the 2010-2011 school year as HohokamTraditional School. One element of the traditional philosophy that will begin next year is a new student dress code. This was approved by the Governing Board on April 7, 2009
